Because the computer network is down on the dental school campus, clinic staffers have no way to access information to call patients. As soon as the network is restored, patients will be contacted to reschedule appointments. LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused by this unusual weather event.

Patients who have appointments scheduled at the Dental and Medical Primary Care Clinic at 1111 Florida Avenue will be seen as usual, as that building was not affected.

The heavy rainfall that occurred Saturday, July 22, 2017, flooded the basements of the main buildings on the dental school campus, which took on about 1 ½ feet of water. Critical electrical infrastructure was affected. Repairs are underway, but it unclear at this time if normal operations will resume on Tuesday. Information updates will be shared with media and posted at www.lsuhsc.edu, www.facebook/LSUHSC and www.twitter.com/LSUHealthNO.
